The coffee we roast and sell is 100% grade 1 Jamaican Blue Mountain (JBM) from Clysdale Farm. Jamiacan Blue Mountain is a globally protected mark, meaning only coffee certified by the Coffee Industry Board of Jamaican can be called Jamaican Blue Mountain.
JBM grows between 3,000-5,000ft. At this high of an altitude the bean plants grow slower and have time to develop its rich character notes. JBM coffees are kown for their sweet rich, mild & smooth tasting notes and a remarkable lack of bitterness.

5/14/2013// What's in and What's out. We are done with El Salvador and Ethiopian Sidamo. The Ethiopian Yirgacheffe is back.
New Coffee Beans: Columbian Supremo and Brazil Serra do Bone. They are not exactly new, but different. They are both from a smaller farm (micro-lot). The Brazilian coffee is from an awarding winning farm (Serra do Bone), 2nd place 2010 Cup of Excellence.

Espresso (e-spres-oh): is not a particular type of bean, roast or blend. Espresso is just a way coffee is prepared: pressuized hot water shooting through finely ground coffee. The brew is done in 20 - 24 second producing 1oz of intense, flavourful tasting coffee.
